It is that time of year again where our ḰELSET community gives back!
This year during our ḰELSET Act of Kindness week we are collecting donations for the ḰELSET Forgotten Lunch Program, The Sidney Food Bank, and extra clothing and shoes for our students.
Our annual food and clothing drive will take place next week!
Between February 14th-16th please bring non-perishable food items and/or clothing items to the school. PAC will have wagons in front of and at the back of the school between 8:30-9:00am each day. As children donate they will be given a paper heart to put on the wall. The goal is to fill the wall with hearts so we can all see how much we have given back!
Suggested donations:
- Jam/Honey
- Peanut free snacks
- Peanut free granola bars
- Crackers
- Fishy crackers
- Dry cereal
- Fruit leather
- Paper snack bags
- Lunch size paper bags
- Compostable small bowls
Gently used or new clothing items needed:
* shoes (range from children size 2 to women’s 8/Men’s 10)
* children’s L/XL to adult small/medium:
- sweatshirts/ hoodies
- pants
- shirts
- jackets
