Families, We hope that you were all able to enjoy the long weekend - hopefully enjoying some of the sunny warm weather with family and friends.  From last week... thank you to all of you who came out to our school Welcome Night, to hear a little bit about our school, learn more about our PAC, and tour the classroom to see some of the work our children are really proud of. It was great to see so many of you. Thanks to those of you who let us know how great it was to once again welcome families into our classrooms in a safe way. For those of you unable to attend, administration shared with our families our school goal of supporting all of our learners' social and emotional growth, leading to literacy and numeracy achievement. How do we do this? At ḰELSET, we have a staff team approach to supporting our students. We develop common goals and language with our learners, and most importantly, we are a learning community - we encourage parent involvement. Please reach out to your classroom teacher to stay informed, and be an active participant in your child's learning. The school-home link is so very important at the elementary level. Don't forget to subscribe to this forum to stay involved at the school level as well!
