As part of the comprehensive process of developing the overall school and class organization for the 2021/2022 school year, many factors are taken into consideration as staff discuss possible class configurations and placement of individual children. Our goal is to create a balanced learning community that equally distributes:

· Cultural Diversity and English as a Second Language
· Peer Relationships
We strive to ensure that each class is a workable instructional and social group.
If you as a parent or guardian have input into your child’s placement for the 2021-22 school year, that you would like the school to consider during the student placement process, please reach out by email to your child’s teacher or to Ms. Crocket-Moore (ccrocketmoore@saanichschools.ca). We value your input; at the same time, it is important to understand that staff members often have specific reasons why students are placed in ways that are different than parents/guardians have requested.
Please DO NOT REQUEST a particular teacher. All teachers are committed to meeting, as best they can, the individual needs of your child.
