December 10, 2020

As we have worked for the past several months to ensure all our staff, students and families are safe, we would like to thank you for your understanding and support during this unprecedented year. We would also like to acknowledge the ḰELSET Staff for their tireless effort and commitment to ensuring our students are in a safe and productive learning environment. Thank you to the ḰELSET PAC for their dedication to our students and families.  We are very grateful for their continued support.

At this time, we would like to wish all our ḰELSET families a happy holiday and best wishes in 2021.  Stay well everyone!  We look forward to seeing all of you in January.

Holiday Hampers

Thank you to our very generous ḰELSET school community for the donations to our holiday hampers.  We will continue to collect food items until December 11th.  Items can be dropped off in the wagons assembled in the front and back of the school.  Cash or gift cards are welcome! Thank you!

Hoilday School Dance- Thursday, December 17th

To help get everyone in the festive spirit, we will be holding a school dance from 1:30-1:45 in our classrooms with holiday music playing over the school intercom.

Holiday Hat Day/Red-Green Day- Friday, December 18th

Don’t forget to wear your favourite holiday hat on December 18th.  Also, if you have anything red or green, be sure to wear it too!

“Snowman on the Shelf”- Monday, December 14-Friday, December 18

As students are walking in the hallway of the school, they are encouraged to look very carefully for the snowman hidden somewhere down the hallway!  Each day the snowman will be hidden in a new location. If students find it, they could win a prize!  Winners will be announced each afternoon.
