Your PAC needs you!
We
have a wonderfully committed group of parents who have spent many
dedicated years volunteering their time on our Parent Advisory Council.
Many of these parents are nearing the end of their time at KELSET and
we need to fill their positions!
Please consider getting involved so that we can continue to offer community building events, support academic enhancement and provide funding for many important areas of our children's education including field trips, art programs, library enhancement, physical education, classroom technology, body health education, playground enhancement, extra curricular activities etc....

The
following positions are open and waiting to be filled by parents and
guardians who are looking for a way to get involved at KELSET. Meetings
are once a month for up to two hours and free child minding is
offered. Mentoring is available for all of the open positions - we
promise we won't leave you hanging!
- EVENTS COMMITTEE CHAIR - Without someone in this position we will not be able to offer family movie nights, games nights, the family dance or any other community building events that helps to bring families together. No social committee = no fun.
- SPRING FAIR COORDINATOR - This position can be held by our Social Committee Chair but we recognize that it might be more manageable if these positions are held separately. The Spring Fair is our biggest social and fundraising event of the year and we need someone to coordinate it. There are many committees of people who take care of the details but we need someone to oversee these committees and look at the big picture. If we don't fill this position we will have far less money to spend on supporting our kids and school the following year.
- FIRST NATIONS REP - This is a position that we would really love to fill this year! We recognize the importance of making connections with our First Nations community. Please consider joining us.
- FUNDRAISING CO-CHAIR - We do have a parent who has stepped forward to help with fundraising (yay!) but she'd love a hand so if you've been thinking about this position but didn't want to take it on alone here's your opportunity!
