As you are aware, the District Track Meet had to be cancelled due to the current labour situation. A KELSET Track Meet will occur Thursday, June 12th in the morning. The event will be very informal and will see students participating in running events (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m(Grade 4/5 only) and Relays). This will be the culmination for students that wanted to participate in these track events. Parents/family members are welcome to attend.
The Grade Three students will be participating in Track activities from 8:45 until 9:45. The Grade Four and Five students will participate from 9:45 until 11:10. If necessary, the Grade Four and Five activities may continue immediately after the lunch break.
As stated above, family members are welcome to come out to cheer students on. We apologize for the short notice. We are doing the best we can to see certain year end events occur despite the current labour situation which makes many things more challenging to orchestrate.
We applaud our teachers for their good will and ongoing commitment to making events such as this happen for students!
