The ḰELSET administration for the 2021-22 school year have been announced.
Leila Sinclair-Wise has been assigned to the position of Vice-Principal at Lochside Elementary School. The ḰELSET community will greatly miss her passion, enthusiasm and dedication. Thank you to Ms. Sinclair-Wise for the extraordinary impact she has had on our school community. She will be greatly missed! We wish her all the best in her new role at Lochside Elementary.
Principal – ḰELSET Elementary School – Ms. Tassie Harris has been appointed as Principal at ḰELSET Elementary School. Ms. Harris comes to the Saanich School District from Vancouver where she is in the role of Principal. Ms. Harris is a highly skilled and experienced educator with a strong inclusive educational background.
Vice-Principal – ḰELSET Elementary School – Mr. Philip Jungen has been appointed to the position as Vice-Principal at ḰELSET. Mr. Jungen has been vice-principal at Keating Elementary since 2017. Mr. Jungen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to ḰELSET.
Please join me in welcoming Ms. Harris and Mr. Jungen to ḰELSET. I will be working closely with them to ensure a smooth transition occurs.
