Dear ḰELSET Families and Friends,
The Spring Fair is one of our school’s biggest fundraisers and it is an event that all of our students look forward to. For those families that are new to our school, this event is a large family carnival with games, a concession, activities, a raffle and a silent auction. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic we were unable to host this event in 2020, and unfortunately we cannot proceed in 2021 either. This event raises substantial profits to support literacy, arts and physical education at ḰELSET. It is our hope that we can take one of the top earning components of this event, the Silent Auction, and move it online this year so that we don’t have to lose out completely!
We are reaching out to you, our families, to help provide exciting donations towards our Silent Auction. We know that there are families within our school who have connections to businesses (or personal skills) that could offer great prizes for the auction. Please see the attached list of ideas for items that would make our Silent Auction a great success. You may be surprised to find that you have something you can offer!
If you have something to donate or know of a company that is willing to donate, please contact Andrea Paget or Jessica Hopkins, our PAC Event Coordinators. The auction will take place in the Spring of 2021, but we would like to secure the donations as soon as possible as we are competing with other schools and community groups for these donations.
